I became an uncle for the first time this weekend. It was beyond exciting and I’m pleased to say that my sister and baby are doing fine. The situation also gave me an excuse to route out my 50mm and take some photos of the new family member. Lighting in a hospital isn’t the best but I’m happy with what I got, and I’m sure there’ll be many more photo opportunities in the coming months and years.
